Privacy Policy – Terms and Conditions

GDPR Update

GDPR legislation is in full effect from May 25th 2018. It is the requirement of every registered business to comply with articles set out in the ICO conformity documents. GDPR has been established to protect the rights to anonymity for the individual, including the protection against unsolicited advertising/marketing from businesses. In order for businesses to contact customers, they must have positively opted in to receive information, promotions, newsletters and updates.

With respect to this website, GDPR conformity has been met by asking for permission to store email addresses and names via contact forms (for the sole purpose of responding to enquiries). At no point will this data be sold/distributed to 3rd party marketers. Wildgoose (Bonsall) Ltd will only retain these details for a period of 12 months unless an enquiry has to lead to the formation of business between a client and the company; in this instance, record sets applicable to accounting law will be kept for a period of 6 years.

An individual who has contacted us may ask for any records pertaining to themselves to be deleted, except in the case where a business transaction has occurred, record sets then have to be stored as a legal requirement of the aforementioned accountancy laws.

Wildgoose (Bonsall) Ltd will always ask for a positive opt-in for the purposes of sending newsletters and marketing material. No positive assumptions are made to protect the rights and wishes of the individual.
